Things happen in our life horrible things and some times they are so bad we wonder how every one else is not feeling the same way as we are, we may have lost a loved one, or we may have gone through a serious break up in a relationship, or some type of hardship what ever they case may be, and we look around and the world around us is still moving like nothing happened well, in reality nothing happened to them. Times like that is when you need your true friend that can relate to the pain your going through. the world is an awful lonley place if you don’t have that one friend that can help you through things, its good to have a pastor to go to. Its good to have a counselor to go to, but neither one is like having that friend that will just listen and tell you what you need to hear, or not say any thing at all. I have a friend like that I can call him any time of day or night and he will be right there for me and I would do the same for him. We all have friends but do you have a friend that you can go to with any thing and just know it’s confidently and just know they won’t tell a sole on earth what you talked about that’s the kind of friend I am talking about. Friends are hard to come by and when you get a buddy that will stick with you through rough times and good times you are a blessed person, I am blessed because I have one of those in my life, now my wife is a great friend but she can’t provide the type of friendship I need some time and each of you know whether your a woman or a man you know what it means to have that friend. If you don’t You are probably thinking right now who is that friend I can trust with my life who is that person I can communicate with that understands me. If you don’t know right away who that person is you don’t have that type of friend. Oh you may have friends but do you have that one. If you do be very thankful you do because if something ever happened to my buddy I would feel left alone in the world, you know we can go a month with out talking but when we need each other we are there for one another. Hey get you a friend like that you need one. Think of the friends you do have and chose that one and do some thing for them out of the blue maybe do something for there kids my friend has children and I love them like my own. I would help them also. find that friend and keep them keep in touch call them once a month and check up on them. keep them close they may need you or you may need them sometime and if you keep them close they will be there for you. Find that friend this year who knows something might happen this year and you might just find out who that one friend is. If your going to have a friend it works both ways also be there for them they need you like you need them, get you a friend and keep them close. God Bless

How to get people to serve the Lord
Jesus said in Matt.9:37-38 “then saith he unto his disciples the harvest truly is plenteous but the laborers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest will send forth laborers into his harvest.”
Where do we get laborers for church work? Jesus told us right there in this passage of scripture “we pray for them” He wouldn’t have told us to do it if he didn’t plan on answering the prayer. We simply pray but when we pray we must pray believing not wishful thinking but pray like they will turn up tomorrow. That’s how we must pray, but they will come in his timing.
All though we sometimes over look laborers siting under our noses, some people just need to be asked to do something. I am never afraid to ask someone to do something in the church. You’re not just asking them to do something for the church; you’re asking them to serve the King of Kings the Lord of the Harvest, notice who’s harvest Jesus said it was “Into His harvest” it is his harvest, it is His church. When you ask someone to do something in the church there are no meaningless task in the church, whatever you ask them could have the potential to impact or change the lives of hundreds or thousands of people there are no meaningless tasks for the Lord.
The problem is we approach it the wrong way we ask them like we are asking them to work for something that doesn’t matter. Everything that we do for the Lord is a great matter.
When we ask someone to serve the Lord we must have the right mind set about it, you’re giving them the opportunity to serve the Lord the King of Kings, you’re not just asking them to work for the church. Approaching it with that mind set it means a lot more than just asking someone to do something for the church, you are asking them to serve God, and no one should feel guilty about asking others to serve the Lord that gave his life, took their sin, paid there sin debt, and rose from the dead and is now alive for ever more sitting at the right hand of God and one day will come back to receive his own. God help us get back in the service of the King who is able to do exceeding and abundantly above all we ask or think
We must change our mentality about the things dealing with the church, the world has humanized Christ and I think the church has also. Christ is God we will all one day bow the knee and say Christ is Lord. There is no other name under heaven whereby we shall be saved. Christ built the church not man the church is an institution created by God in heaven, man has built buildings and called them churches but the real church exist everywhere Christians gather together whether it is in a basement or a cave or in the middle of the desert somewhere, Christ should be the center of attention in the church. Once the churches of America put Christ back in the center instead of rock concerts and plays and dramas and productions made by man, the power will be back in the church, the church lost its power when it let the world in. I have read about revivals that changed entire towns and spread across America back when preachers preached on sin and repentance and that hell is real and Christ is the only way to get there. But now there are preachers heretics that say there are many ways to heaven. Well they will find out one day the bible says the way is narrow. And the bible says what it means and means what is says. I just pray Christians will get back to God then the power would come back. There was a time when the church had power over the world now the world is using the church like a door mat they let the Ten Commandments be thrown around like some type of toy to be played with. There is still power in those words; you tell me what’s wrong with,
Thou shalt not kill (Murder) Thou shalt not commit adultery Thou shalt not bare false witness and the other 7 you can find them in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 most folks that stand up for the Ten Commandments can’t find them in the bible that is why I wrote the reference down so you could look them up. Back to the question what is wrong with them that they are so bad you have to take them down that no one can see them? Well that is my thought and ramblings but they are important thoughts and ramblings I pray someone would take them to heart.mailto:grnthrlw.iii@gmail.com

Helping others for me always ends up helping myself in the process, when I am helping others I always see the blessing on my part sure they will thank you and God Bless you but the real blessing is in the giver of the gift whether it be your time, money, or what ever you give.
Concerining bitterness the bible says in Ephesians 4:31 “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice.”

Bitterness is a choice we make. No one can force another person to be bitter. a bitter person thinks that they can be bitter in just one area of there life but that bitterness will affect and interupt every area of that persons life. Bitterness cannot be contained because it is a flaw in a persons attitude, character, and spiritual life.

A bitter person emotionally builds a wall between themself and the person they are bitter against, and slowly but surely that wall becomes stronger and stronger as they try to protect themselves emotionally.
The problem with this is with building this wall they will construct this wall and shut every one else out also, and eventually they will shut God out of their lives, Oh you say it can’t be that bad I am only mad at one or two people, when is the last time you had an alone time with God, when was the last time you really got in Gods word and read it to let God speak to you? When was the last time you actually felt the presence of God move when you prayed to him. See God is being shut out and you don’t even realize it. Bitter people end up shutting people that really care for them out, and wont listen to them either even though they love them so much the bitter person at it’s end will not feel that love from God or any one else becausse of an incident that happened a long time ago. Bitter people don’t have the love of God flowing back and fourth through them, it is a horrible state to be in they often feel lonely even with those they love, they are often deppressed beause of the lack of godly love flowing through them. A bitter person should repent and ask God to forgive them and ask the Holy Spirit to love through them again God is the only way back from a bitter heart,The love of God flows through a godly person but bitterness blocks that love from flowing through the bitter person, and that will rob them of the joy of the Lord also the bitter person may want to make changes in their life to get rid of the bitterness or what they feel they buy new cars or buy new cloths they try every thing but nothing will work until the ask for forgivness from God and get right with him that is the only way back to the right side of the Lord, you can tell a bitter person by the way they talk the bible says “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” You can tell by the conversation if a person is bitter, have you listened to yourself lately. Do you have bitterness you need to get rid of why don’t you let God right now forgive you and you will feel the burden of that lifted off your shoulders today. I Hope this helps some one. God Bless each of you.

I have been preaching for about 8-9 years and have counseled people for about 7 years in many different areas of life, in the past I have always used the biblical approach to counseling people, as I study life coaching it is totally different from that of a counselor. As a counselor I would deal with the root problems to get to the surface problems, sort of dig out the problem. But as a life coach I will help you move forward in life and reach your goals or what ever you may bring to me, we will discuss it and if I am not qualified to help you I will tell you, I will not be some one I am not. If I can help you, and you feel comfortable with me we will start simple and work to accomplish what ever you want to accomplish. In the past I have helped people with, marital problems, Individuals, Teens and many others some with depression some with bitterness, and many more.

In one case in particular I helped a family, the wife divorced her husband and married another man, and the child which was a young boy about 10 years old he was having problems with the stepfather (Never a good situation for a child) , the stepfather asked if there was any thing I could do and we made an appointment and after about 3 meetings (about 45min to an hour each time) they were happy living and connecting with one another and getting to know one another. I had the mother bring the boy and I talked with her also she had issues she had to deal with also, in the end every thing was worked out.

That is just one of many stories, every thing is confidential this family I just described has moved out of the state I live in and I would never tell any one who it was, every subject we talk about is always Confidential any thing we talk about will always be in strict confidence my wife knows not to even ask about what I talked about, so If you need to work on an area in your life email me at hrlw_grnt@yahoo.com and we can go from there. God Bless

Jesus was talking to people healing people there was a great crowd around him and the diciples were turning the little children away and telling them to leave and Jesus taught a great lesson here in his words, He said “Suffer the little children to come unto me” we all must come to Christ as a child with child like humility and child like trust, I trusted my Mother and Father as a child I knew with all my heart they would take care of me, that is the way we must come to Christ, as a child. We also must not deny the little children to come to Christ either the more they learn about him in there youth the more they will remember when they grow up even if they go the wrong direction for a while they will always know where to come back to that is what happened in my life and as I talk to others the same with them. So allow the little children to come to Christ we could learn a lesson from there child like faith because we must have the same. I will leave you with this thought, You allow children to come to Christ but you persuade adults to come to Christ.” Think on that God Bless you all. Sign my Guest book some time I would like to hear from you Good or bad opinions.

God does not discard his children, Jeremiah 18 God tells Jeremiah to go down to the potters house, and there he would speak to him.

He showed Jeremiah a practical lesson on how he treats his own. The potter was making a piece of pottery when something happened it was marred in the potters hands we don’t know what happened but we do know it was marred, but what happens next is the lesson, the potter took the same piece of clay and reshaped it into a fine piece of pottery. That is what the Lord does with us at times we get marred we get out of Gods will we get for countless number of reasons marred and unusable for the potter, but He will not discard He will not throw us in the trash bin on the contrary he will use us He will reshape us into what he would have us to be.

There are some things we have to do to be reshaped we have to allow him to reshape us we can’t be rebellious and expect him to do with us what we want to do, we have to be willing to do what He would have us to do. I have learned that a lot of times we let others shape us into what they would have us to be instead of letting God shape us into what He would have us to be, being influenced by others not exactly peer pressure but following others to there will instead of Gods will is almost or is disobeying God. When God leads we should follow his sheep hear his voice and they obey him, but some times we listen to the wrong voice and wrong influence of others and those others might be a spiritual person wanting to do right but they are not God You have the same Holy Spirit that every child of God has listen to the Great Shepherds Voice. Listen to those who will steer you in the direction of the will of God not in the direction of there will.

When we stray one thing is for sure God will use us again, He will not throw us in the trash, I have met people that will say “You just don’t know what I have done” listen there is nothing God will not do to bring you back into his will and he will use you again, you may have strayed far from the flock of God but the prodigal son come to his senses and came back to the father some time we have to come to our senses and come back. Some time we have to stop and listen to the still small voice that is in each of us we need to listen to the Spirit of God.

You may be away from God right now and know your away that is a very dangerous place to be openly disobeying God and his will for your life. Get back into the fellowship of other Christians and have them pray for you and with you that you will find Gods will again for your life. Let him reshape you into something fit for the masters use. God Loves You personally regardless of what you may think He loves you enough he sent his son Jesus to die in your place and all your sins were nailed to that cross when he paid your sin debt. He will take that clump of clay that you are and reshape you into something beautiful something with purpose something that will bring him glory. Go back to God would you?

God Loves You and he wants to reshape you.

God Bless
